AI Auto-Marking for DSE Long Questions
Graded against the official markscheme, following the same Method/Accuracy mark logic a real examiner uses.
Getting a long question wrong tells you very little on its own — the marks that matter are in the working. SketchMath's AI auto-marking grades your typed or handwritten working against the official markscheme, using the same Method and Accuracy mark logic a real DSE examiner applies.
How Grading Follows HKDSE Convention
- Method marks are awarded for correct working, even if the final answer ends up wrong.
- Accuracy marks are only awarded for a correct final value reached through valid working.
- Marks are withheld where a required geometric or algebraic reason is missing, even if the number is right.
What You Submit
The question part and the official markscheme are used as the grading reference. You can submit a typed answer, up to four photographed images of handwritten working, or both. Grading is metered under the same daily quota as SketchMath's chat feature.
What You Get Back
A total and awarded mark, plus up to two specific feedback points on exactly what cost you marks and up to two tips for next time — written as short, plain-language sentences rather than dense examiner shorthand.
